Information about water fountains

I am making a table top fountain as a gift and would like to use a flicker bulb (normally used in candlebras to give a flame-like look) is there a way to water proof it or put it in the fountain without the danger of the water? Do they make waterproof bulbs for fountains? Any tips and suggestions would be helpful.

I’m talking about those big nice wall fountains where there is a big rectangular wall glass that you can set on a table, and once you plug the fountain in, a nice calm stream of water pours down.
Well, I need stores that are franchises, not that I have anything against local stores, its just that I need franchise stores so that I would be able to reach them. Unlike local stores.

The fountain was installed as part of original construction in 1978. We recently tore out all surrounding tile and the fountain broke in several pieces, it may be able to be refurbished if anyone is any suggestions in the Dallas, TX area. The pump is built into the fountain floor, so I don’t have the ability to use a fountain with a pump. Thanks!!

ok so ive been filling a water bottle up at my college out of water fountains and if you smell the water it has that smell of when you walk into an indoor pool (no exaggeration at all) i was just wondering how bad would this be for you
i mean it cant be good for you right?

I have a little garden fountain I bought about a year ago. I stored it away for winter and now that I’m moving to a new townhouse, I decided I should clean it before putting it back together.
What is the proper way to clean the fountain and pump and how do I keep it clean throughout the spring and summer?
Oh, what is true by putting a little bit of bleach in the water will keep alegy from building up? Or would that damage the pump?
